Jeffrey B. Katz

In 2001, Jeffrey co-founded Mercury Payment Systems (MPS) and aligned with Point of Sale (POS) Developers and Resellers to deliver payment processing merchants. In doing so, they changed the way the POS Industry generated revenue. Silver Lake Partners, the leading private investor in technology and technology-enabled industries, recognized the continued growth potential of these innovations and made a strategic investment, acquiring a 61% interest in 2010.

In 2013 he was individually recognized by the RSPA, (the POS industry’s trade association), by being inducted into their Hall of Fame. That was a very proud achievement. In 2014, Mercury Payment Systems was sold to Vantiv, Inc. for $1.65 Billion.

Andrew Bourne
President & CTO

Andrew Bourne is a technology leader, serial entrepreneur, and revenue driver. Andrew’s passion is in building and leading high performing teams through difficult technical projects to successful results. Now the President and CTO of Octopi, Andrew was previously the CPO (Chief Product Officer) of Bolste. In 18 months at the helm Andrew led his team to release Bolste 3.0, a world class and internationally award winning SaaS application. He possesses a deep technical background and business acumen allows him to seamlessly traverse complex projects to high market value. As an entrepreneur, Andrew started his first Technology venture: ITIC, Inc. in Denver CO. In 5 years as CEO, he grew y/y revenues 100% with three locations Denver, Phoenix & Seattle.

He led teams in developing business intelligence analytics solutions for internationally recognized companies such as: Honeywell, ING, Citibank, Discount Tires, Coors, Lipper Analytical, Apple, and Standard and Poors, among others. Andrew holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado and an M.B.A. from George Washington University in Washington D.C.
